Kim joins Phillies in reserve outfield role

The Phillies acquired Hyun Soo Kim, Double-A left-hander Garrett Cleavinger and international amateur signing bonus pool cash from the Orioles on Friday for starter Jeremy Hellickson and cash. Kim joined the club before Sunday's game against the Braves at Citizens Bank Park.

Became the first Korean-born player in Orioles history when he made his Major League debut on 4.10 vs. TB...Collected his first ajor League hit with a single in the second inning...Notched a 10-game hitting streak from 7.26-8.8 in which he hit .324 (12-for-37) with five walks, one home run, and one RBI...Slugged his first Major League home run on 5.29 at CLE (solo HR off Jeff Manship in top of the seventh inning)...
