Today's 50/50 drawing to benefit Taney Youth Baseball Association

Phillies Charities, Inc. has designated the Taney Youth Baseball Association as beneficiary of today's 50/50 drawing. This means that one lucky fan will win half of the gross prize amount, and the other 50% will benefit Taney Youth Baseball Association.

Here's how to buy a 50/50 drawing ticket to benefit the Taney Dragons, who won the Mid-Atlantic Regional last night and will compete in the Little League World Series in Williamsport beginning this weekend.

  • 50/50 drawing tickets will be sold at Citizens Bank Park through the end of the 7th inning at today's 1:05 Phillies vs. NY Mets game and are available for purchase at: 3 for $5; 7 for $10; or 15 for $20.
  • The winning raffle number will be announced in the 8th inning on Phanavision; with the prize total displayed throughout the game on the closed captioned section below the main scoreboard.
  • A lucky fan will win half of the gross prize amount, and the other 50% will benefit the Taney Youth Baseball Association.
  • Phillies Charities, Inc. issues grants each year to non-profit organizations in the Delaware Valley as well as the areas surrounding the Phillies minor league affiliates.
