MIAMI -- The Phillies lost an instant replay challenge in the ninth inning Tuesday at Marlins Park.

Cesar Hernandez hit a ground ball to Marlins shortstop Ed Lucas, who threw to first. First-base umpire Eric Cooper ruled Hernandez out, but the Phillies thought first baseman Garrett Jones was pulled off the bag and manager Ryne Sandberg challenged.

After one minute and 20 seconds, replay confirmed the call on the field.
