Rain cancels Monday's Orioles-Phillies tilt

Monday's game between the Orioles and Phillies at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla., was cancelled due to rain.

Southpaw Brian Matusz, who's posted a 3.00 ERA in six innings this spring, was slated to take the hill for the Orioles in his second spring start. Right-hander Kyle Kendrick, who carries a 7.20 ERA in five innings, was slated to start for the Phillies.

Up next: The Phillies make the short drive on Wednesday to Dunedin to play the Blue Jays at 1:05 p.m. ET in a Grapefruit League game at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. Right-hander Roberto Hernandez, who threw five nearly perfect innings on Thursday against the Yankees, is slated to start. Watch the game live on MLB.TV.
