Rain cancels Monday's Orioles-Phillies tilt

Monday's game between the Orioles and Phillies at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla., was cancelled due to rain.

Southpaw Brian Matusz, who's posted a 3.00 ERA in six innings this spring, was slated to take the hill for the Orioles in his second spring start. Right-hander Kyle Kendrick, who carries a 7.20 ERA in five innings, was slated to start for the Phillies.

The Orioles are scheduled to face the Twins at Ed Smith Stadium at 7:05 p.m. ET on Monday, with Ubaldo Jimenez on the hill. The Phillies will face the Blue Jays on Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin. Right-hander Roberto Hernandez is slated to start.
