CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels is scheduled to throw his first bullpen session of the spring Tuesday.
He is behind schedule after feeling discomfort in his left shoulder in November. The Phillies and Hamels maintain there is no reason for concern, and he expects to be back in the Phillies rotation sometime in April.
Hamels threw off flat ground Thursday morning at Carpenter Complex.
