Soreness in Achilles ends Brown's night

PHILADELPHIA -- Domonic Brown left Saturday night's game against Arizona in the third inning with soreness in his right Achilles, and is listed as day to day.

According to interim manager Ryne Sandberg, the Achilles has been bothering Brown for a few days, though it was not apparent what aggravated the issue. Brown ran down Adam Eaton's slicing line drive in the left-field corner for the second out of the first inning before striking out swinging in his only at-bat.

He was replaced by John Mayberry.
