Let the bidding begin!
The inaugural Phillies Charities "Phantastic Auction" is officially underway on Phillies.com - giving fans nation-wide the chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Phillies players and alumni, trips, memorabilia and many other unique opportunities.
The full list of 47 Phantastic Auction items has something for every fan including clinics, golf outings and dinners with Hall of Famers, MVP's, Cy Young winners and All-Stars.
Experiences include a private romantic dinner for two on the field at Citizens Bank Park, a chance for a fan to host the 1980 and 2008 World Series Trophies at their house or office, a private hitting clinic with Chase Utley, and an opportunity to broadcast an inning of play with Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen. The Phantastic Auction will also feature incredible baseball memorabilia, which includes a game-used baseball thrown and autographed by Roy Halladay during his 2010 postseason no-hitter, as well as baseball sets signed by various members of both the 500 home run club and 3,000 hit club.
And the best part: it's all to benefit charity.
This 11-day, online event is held in partnership with SportsRadio 94WIP and Talk Radio 1210 WPHT. Both stations will provide two days of programming during the culmination of the auction on Tuesday, May 14th and Wednesday, May 15th.

Proceeds from The Phantastic Auction
The Phillies family - from the players, coaches, and their wives, to the alumni, ballgirls and front office staff - takes great pride in giving back to the community.
Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Phillies organization, makes gifts to charitable organizations that serve a wide variety of needs, primarily in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and particularly those serving the Greater Philadelphia area and the communities of its minor league affiliates.
Phillies Charities, Inc. raises funds through a variety of activities throughout the year, now including The Phantastic Auction. In 2012, due to strong fan support, approximately $2 million in grants were awarded to dozens of deserving charitable organizations.
The net proceeds from The Phantastic Auction will benefit Phillies Charities, Inc., and a portion of those proceeds will be contributed to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association as part of the Phillies Phestival on May 16, 2013.
