PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies on Monday agreed to Major League contracts with 12 players.

The group includes six pitchers, two catchers and four outfielders.

Pitchers: Jeremy Horst, Ethan Martin, J.C. Ramirez, Mauricio Robles, Michael Stutes and Raul Valdes.

Catchers: Erik Kratz and Sebastian Valle.

Outfielders: Zach Collier, Tyson Gillies, Ender Inciarte and Darin Ruf.

Horst, Stutes and Valdes will be competing for bullpen jobs during Spring Training. Kratz is expected to be the Opening Day catcher with Carlos Ruiz serving a 25-game suspension for using a banned stimulant. Ruf will be competing for one of the team's five outfield jobs. Inciarte is a Rule 5 Draft pick and will get a good look in Spring Training
