Phillies outright Martinez to Triple-A
PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies have outrighted infielder Michael Martinez off the 40-man roster to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Martinez hit .174 with three doubles, two home runs, seven RBIs and a .461 OPS in 45 games this season. He has hit .188 with a .512 OPS over two seasons with the Phillies.

The Phillies selected Martinez in the 2010 Rule 5 Draft.
