PHILADELPHIA -- Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino said after Monday's game that he was feeling better after a Randy Wolf pitch hit him in the right elbow in the first inning.

Victorino, who suffered a bruised elbow, left the game because he lost all feeling in his right hand, leaving him unable to grip a bat or ball.

"I had never had that before," Victorino said in a telephone interview. "It just hit me in the right spot. It feels a lot better now, so hopefully [Tuesday] it feels great and I'll be ready to go."

John Mayberry Jr. moved from left field to center field and Juan Pierre entered the game in left.
