Howard awarded home run following review
PHILADELPHIA -- Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the first inning of Monday's game off the Brewers' Randy Wolf.

Howard's drive was originally ruled a double, but the umpires convened and reviewed the call via instant replay. Replay showed the ball clearly landed over the fence and in the flower bed in left-center field.

Howard's blast followed a solo home run to deep right field by Chase Utley.

Utley and Howard have gone back-to-back four times in their careers, but this was the first time it happened against a left-handed pitcher.
