Blue Jays at the plate: Aaron Hill had a hand in all three Toronto runs. He blasted his first spring homer, a two-run shot, in the second inning. Hill scored on a Ryan Howard error after doubling to lead off the fifth.

Phillies at the plate: Wes Helms drove in the hosts' lone run with a two-out RBI single in the ninth, scoring So Taguchi.

Blue Jays on the mound: Randy Wells threw a solid four innings in his final Spring Training start. The right-hander struck out five, giving up two hits.

Phillies on the mound: Cole Hamels had a decent outing, going five innings, yielding five hits and surrendering three runs (two earned). He struck out three and didn't issue a walk.

Grapefruit League records: Phillies 12-17-1, Blue Jays 12-16.

Up next: A pair of lefties will match up on Saturday as the Jays send John Parrish against the Phils' Jamie Moyer at 1:05 p.m. ET at Citizens Bank Park.
