Phillies' Lee lands NL Pitcher of Month Award

MIAMI -- Phillies left-hander Cliff Lee earned National League Pitcher of the Month honors for an incredible June.

Lee went 5-0 with a Major League-leading 0.21 ERA in five starts. He led the league in wins, ranked third in innings pitched (42) and ranked sixth in strikeouts (29). He finished the month with three consecutive shutouts to become the first big leaguer to accomplish the feat since Brandon Webb in 2007, and the first Phillies pitcher to do so since Robin Roberts in 1950.
