PHILADELPHIA -- Jimmy Rollins went 0-for-2 with an RBI in a rehab game for Class A Clearwater on Saturday -- his last, presumably, before being activated from the disabled list early next week.
Phillies assistant general manager Scott Proefrock said Saturday that Rollins was to be evaluated after Saturday's game to see if he was ready to return. There was no word on Sunday whether Rollins -- who has been on the DL since May 22 with a strained right calf -- will make his return to Philadelphia's lineup for Tuesday's game against Cleveland.
Saturday was Rollins' fourth game for Clearwater. Overall, he went 2-for-11 with two runs and two RBIs.
